I am an emerging contemporary artist whose practice is rooted in a love of nature, colour, texture and intuitive creation. For a long time, I carried many ideas for paintings but rarely had the time to explore them. Returning to art has given me the freedom to finally bring those ideas to life. My work develops organically, often beginning without a fixed outcome and evolving through layers of colour, texture, form and experimentation. I am particularly drawn to the quiet beauty and richness found in nature, and this continues to influence the colours, rhythms and surfaces within my work. I work primarily with acrylic and mixed media, creating layered surfaces that invite both visual and tactile engagement. Rather than beginning with a precise narrative, I often allow the painting to reveal itself through the process of making. I value the unexpected changes and discoveries that happen along the way, and I leave space for viewers to find their own connection and interpretation. Through my work, I hope to create paintings that bring a sense of calm, optimism and joy into the spaces and lives they become part of....porta.
