Born in Delhi, India, Gunjan N Saxena did MFA in 1993 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. Gunjan has many feathers in her cap to her credit which includes the UP State Lalit Kala Academy Annual Award in 1995, National Cultural Scholarship in 1992-94, Hon’ble Mention by Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Federation in 1992-93, Annual Award by faculty of visual arts Banaras Hindu University in 1991-92. She has showcased her works regularly by participating in various national & international events. She held four solo shows to state here- 1994,1997 and 2000 : Triveni Art Gallery, New Delhi ; 2014: Indian Council for Cultural Relations Art Gallery, Azad Bhawan, New Delhi She has also been a part of fifteen group shows, some prominent ones are- 1992- ABC Art Gallery Varanasi; 1994- Group Show of prints by Korean Graphic Art Society; 1996- Maurya Sheraton & Taj Palace New Delhi ;1999- Group Show by Art People at Lalit Kala Galleries New Delhi ; 2011-Group Show “THE CONFLUENCE” at Rabindra Bhawan,New Delhi and 2013-An Exhibition`Colours of Hope’ by Empowerment Group New Delhi....porta.
