Unlike Panini’s "Capriccio" works which mix various monuments, this piece is a more faithful Veduta (view) focusing on the Arch of Titus as it stood in the mid-18th century. The arch, a 1st-century honorary monument located on the Via Sacra, is depicted with its iconic inscriptions and reliefs clearly visible, yet weathered by time and integrated into the hillside.
