In this exquisite early 15th century panel painting titled "Saints Peter, Romuald, Catherine of Alexandria and Jerome, Main Tier Right Panel", Italian artist Giovanni dal Ponte (1385-c.1437) masterfully depicts four venerated saints in rich hues of red, white, gold and brown tempera paint.
