This panel is a masterpiece of storytelling by the Giovanni Boccati, a mysterious and highly skilled artist from Siena. The scene depicts the betrayal of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. On the right, under a canopy of stylized trees, Judas identifies Christ with a kiss, while Roman soldiers and temple guards swarm the scene.
