Description:

This image showcases the magnificent fountains of Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy. The most prominent is the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers), a Baroque masterpiece designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It features sculptures representing the Nile, Danube, Ganges, and Río de la Plata rivers, surrounding an ancient Egyptian obelisk. The Fontana del Moro (Fountain of the Moor), also designed by Bernini and originally by Giacomo della Porta, depicts a triton wrestling a dolphin. The Fontana del Nettuno (Fountain of Neptune), initially designed by della Porta and completed by Antonio Della Bitta, portrays Neptune battling a sea monster. These fountains are celebrated for their artistic and symbolic significance, embodying Rome's grandeur and the Baroque style.
