Description:

This vibrant painting depicts the legendary battle between Saint George and a fearsome dragon. Saint George, a youthful knight clad in shining black armor and a green and gold helmet, sits atop a rearing white horse. With his sword raised high in his right hand, he prepares to strike the dragon, which writhes beneath the horse's hooves, its jaws open and claws extended. The horse is adorned with a pink and gold harness and a red saddle cloth. On the ground, broken pieces of a lance lie scattered, indicating a previous failed attempt to defeat the beast. In the background, to the right, a princess in a flowing red dress kneels in prayer, observing the heroic fight.
